Elegance – Tender Arrangement in Green Tones

Almost anyone has a favorite color or two. That is why it is always better first to find out which colors are the recipient’s favorites and then order the flowers that match his/her preferences.

How to make an arrangement from orchids and chrysanthemums?

We would need enough green foliage to highlight an unusual color of the orchid.

We have chosen a chrysanthemum as a centerpiece, which defines the rhythm of the other elements, for its complex and interesting texture.

The chrysanthemum itself is white, but there is a green spot in the center of the flower. And exactly like that all the flowers in the arrangement should be placed around the centerpiece in a spiral. We’ve also added some pistacia leaves in the center to highlight minor elements in the chrysanthemum’s texture.

The flowers are arranged from the smallest to the largest – an orchid with big, heavy leaves. The orchid has a white center as well and that also accentuates the centerpiece. And finally we finish the arrangement with salal leaves.

We used aspidistra leaves to hold the arrangement together. We have cut each leaf in half, rolled both halves, fixed them with staples and put each orchid in water-tubes inside the leaf. This is done to hide the water tubes for orchids.

The arrangement is complex in color and in texture, that’s why we didn’t use any additional packaging other than tying it with a bow.
